Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat that standard as the benchmark for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508.
What we have done
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and lists so screen readers can navigate pages.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Accessible names on icon-only buttons and links.
- Visible keyboard focus and full keyboard operation of menus, dialogs, and checkout.
- Text and interface colors checked for contrast against our cream and gold palette.
- Responsive layouts that work when text is enlarged up to 200%.
- Captions and written summaries alongside video and podcast content where available.
Known limitations
- Some archival PDFs — press clippings and older research documents — were scanned from print and may not be fully readable by a screen reader. Email us and we will provide the content in another format.
- Embedded third-party content, including the secure payment form and hosted video player, is controlled by those providers and may not fully meet our standard.
- Older blog posts may contain images whose text alternatives are still being improved.
