I found whole body vibration (WBV)through my traditionally trained acupuncturist’s recommendation. My understanding initially was that WBV would be a way of moving stagnant energy. I had experienced difficulties with sleep, digestion, concentration and mood for several years. When I read Becky’s book, I came to understand that there are different kinds of vibration and that these differences affect the outcome. I made the choice to buy the machine that Becky offered, because I wanted the benefits that she described—not just fitness, but the kind of vibration that would put my whole system into balance, without causing agitation.
I actually have a couple of contraindications for using WBV—vertigo and gallstones—so I adapted my use of the WBV machine to only vibrate my limbs and extremities. I also worked with Becky to use homeopathy.
I undertook this new regimen during the pandemic, and was grateful to see a number of positive changes. My mood, mental clarity, motivation, and sleep all improved. I could tell that the homeopathy was affecting me profoundly, and Becky‘s confidence in the system helped me to stay consistent with it and pay attention to the effects.
With WBV, I have found that even a five-minute session can restore me during the day. It leaves me with a feeling of calm and energy, even when I’m stiff and tired after work. The aches go away and are replaced by the hum of well-being.
Becky and I have met monthly by phone for the past three months to discuss my symptoms and to treat them homeopathically. The remedies that she has selected for me have helped me to confront old grief and find the motivation to raise my standards and pick up a healthy daily routine. A long period of depression and being stuck seems to be behind me, and I’m very grateful.
